    Just started with bead jewellery making as a hobby after I had a small surgery and had to stay home for a month. Just subscribed and loving so far your videos! Just a question please and I hope you can answer. When do we use wire guards and when not to. Does it depend on the type of wire as I see you haven’t used one here with this necklace.

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker 22 години тому

      I hope your recovery is speedy! Glad you found me while recuperating. I would use a wire guardian if I was using a jump ring with an opening (although I often don't - whoops!) and if the thread was likely to wear without it. Some threads are softer and not as durable so the wire guardian can stop the wear and tear. The reason I would use one with a jump ring that opens is because some finer threads can slip out of the little slit in the jump ring if it's not closed correctly. I didn't use on here because it was a beginner project and I didn't want to confuse the issue with another technique.

  • @Angel_Hearted50

    Is the knot through the beads after the 2nd bead or back where you made the knot to tie the 2sides of bracelet together?

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker 22 години тому

      The knot is in the same place where you loop the ends through. You just thread the ends through, split them, thread them through the centre of the bracelet and then tie them in the same place. I hope that helps.
